In the early 50's Lincolns were entered in the Carrera Panamerica Road Race, a course of sometimes nearly non-existent roads through Mexico. Ray Crawford won the race in 1954 in a Lincoln Capri Coupe. Lincolns took the first four places in the production car class in 1952 and 1958.
