1955 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith
The Wraith replaced the 25/30 in 1938. Using a welded, rather than riveted body, production costs were trimmed. World War II, starting in 1939, stopped production with only 491 having been built. After the war, the Silver Wraith was introduced sporting a totally new look. During the period from 1947 to 1959 over 1,700 chassis were built. This beautiful black car displays the angular bonnet and trunk lines associated with bodies styled by H. J. Mulliner. The car has a privacy window between the front and back seats and is a right hand drive. The car's impressive new black paint and newly covered white interior adds to its appeal. The car is powered by an F head in-line 6-cylinder with a Hydra-matic transmission and shows 11,311 miles on the odometer. This car truly exemplified the Rolls Royce quest for perfection and recognition in World Wide Automobile Manufacturing!
