The 1957 Thunderbird Convertible is one of our offerings and Ford's answer to Corvette. In 1957, fins were added and the rear deck was lengthened. The longer, heavier Thunderbird was still less expensive than Chevrolet's Corvette. Unfortunately, 1957 was the last year Thunderbird would be a true two-seater sports car.
The first three year series of Thunderbirds have proven to be the most collectible and valuable of American sports cars. It was truly one of Ford's greatest achievements. The Thunderbird made a unique niche for itself in automotive history, and earned a special place in the hearts of everyone who has owned, or wished they could have owned, a Thunderbird.
