We highlight from the World's Fair Collection an extremely unique and rare 1933-1934 World's Fair Settee. Reported to have been displayed in the Ohio Building during the Century of Progress Exposition in Chicago, the settee, crafted by the Marietta Chair Company in the early 1930's of walnut wood, measures 40" high by 76" long with a width of 22".

This select settee, as evidenced by a brass presentation plate below its cushioned seat, celebrates the inauguration of the "Northwest Territory at Marietta on July 15th, 1788."
